About

margret

Margret Kielb has provided professional photography for over ten years, including extensive commercial projects in various European cities. She has partnered with modeling agencies and coordinated shoots for television and print advertisements. Her background in portraiture encompasses families, weddings, pregnancies, children and business images. Across this diversity, she views photography as a bridge between the past and present, allowing us to preserve and return to select moments indefinitely. As such, she approaches each project as individual and works to deliver the optimal results accordingly.

Making her clients comfortable is her top priority and because of this she can capture the perfect portrait filled with beautiful expression. She believes that true beauty lies within all the emotions we feel at our special moments. After all, it is what makes us who we are and it is her mission to preserve that kind of beauty in all of her sessions.

Light Bay Photography Studio brings together the unique talents and expertise of Margret Kielb and Charlie Poursh, offering extensive experience in custom digital photography, printing, and framing. We take all necessary measures to ensure a positive experience for customers-eliciting their needs, making them comfortable with the process and fostering a continued loyalty. In all, we combine classic and modern elements, technical knowledge and an intuitive sense, providing a full range of services to both personal and commercial clients. This means that, for us, our business practices must be driven by a respect for the artistic process, which is by nature indefinable but must be somehow perfect.

Charlie Poursh, Margret’s partner, holds a reputation for perfection and detail through his 20-plus years as Owner of Triangle Imaging in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. He there became distinguished and sought-after for his work in photo finishing, digital printing, digital editing and custom framing, using a range of equipment such as Novitsu printers and Epson enlarging equipment. We now welcome this same understanding of key elements such as color correction, hue temperature, cropping and materials selection, along with an insistence on quality, to Light Bay Photography Studio.
